We must admit we had quite high expectations for this Vampire Weekend clip, like we've had ever since the hilarious music video accompanying A-punk last year.
The visual part of Cousins, first single from their second album Contra, which is released in January next year, is no disappointment. Sure enough, it's basically the band being driven up and down an alley before being sprayed with confetti, but then again, A-punk was just the band a grey background, right?
Contra, as such, looks to be a big hit for the turn of the decade, and has seen its share of rounds on the office stereo already, with this typically Caribbean-tinted punky track being one of many highlights.
