Richard and Marc Jones, Stephanie Ward, Adam Timmins and lead singer Chris Turpin make up Kill It Kid. The five piece sprung from Bath via the help of musician and sometime PJ Harvey collaborator John Parish have melded a rootsy blues mix that belies their early twenties youth.
Stephanie and Chris lead the charge with vocal harmonies on their self-titled debut album; Chris sounding at times like a more dynamic but equally expressive Antony Hegarty, so much so our Q Magazine brethren described them as "Young kids, maybe, but old heads".
Now they're offering up this nice festive download, a more jaunty take on one of the best contemporary Christmas tunes, Low's Just Like Christmas available as a free download here.
