In the run-up to the inaugural New To Q Sessions, we will each day present a track from one of the performers.
Much has already been written about - and many magazine covers have already been adorned with -16-year-old Daisy Coburn from Essex, young at heart but experienced in the art of occupying space in 'best new act' lists.
She is probably the only act ever to list Rage Against The Machine and Badly Drawn Boy as influences in the same sentence (or rather, scroll), and even has the cheek to put a picture of the lovely Nick Drake on her Myspace even though her music is irrevocably glitter-fuelled teen pop, loaded with enough hooks and teen spirit to make Miley Cyrus seem like a ranting granny. Oh, the kids.
