Delphic: Dancerockers from Manchester, shortlisted for a Brit Award, third on BBC's Sound Of 2010 and generally one of the names most frequently dropped into hats marked something in area of "2010's radar radar alert must-buy new music you must hear otherwise someone might kill you".
Fittingly, they are tonight's headliners at the sold out New To Q Session, on a bill also including The Cheek and White Rabbits, where they will perform much of their acclaimed debut album Acolyte. Guess all those hats were on to something.
Doubt is the third single off that album and it electrorocks the way Klaxons once did, like a horde of euphoric nightclubbers sleepwalking across the dancefloor. In a good way.
Acolyde is out now.
