Fyfe Dangerfield to play intimate Q gig

Sometime-Guillemots frontman, and recent solo artist Fyfe Dangerfield will perform an exclusive set for Q readers.

Dangerfield, whose celebrated debut album was released in the humble beginnings of this new decade, will treat fans to an intimate concert on Tuesday, March 9 as part of Q The Music Club Live At Hard Rock Cafe, where he will play songs from Fly Yellow Moon and much more besides.

The audience for each Q The Music Club Live At Hard Rock Cafe is made up of the world's most discerning music fans (ie, you) and ­ here's the best bit: ­admission is absolutely free!

Previous artists who have played these intimate, unique gigs include the esteemed likes of Elbow, Stereophonics, Travis, Reverend & The Makers, Noisettes, Jet, Mr Hudson, The View, Jamie Cullum, The Rumble Strips, Richard Hawley, Noah And The Whale, Bat For Lashes, The Fratellis, Guillemots, Shack and Roísín Murphy.

Everyone who applies for tickets online to Q The Music Club Live At Hard Rock Cafe will have their name put in a prize draw. Those drawn from the hat each win a pair of tickets. Winners will be notified by email. All entrants must be 18 or over. The editor's decision is final. New shows will be announced first online. Doors open for all shows at 7pm and showtime is 7.30pm sharp.

  • not much to say except that to see Fyfe perform live would be brilliant, it would make my day,maybe even month ...it'd be one of the best memories ever as I've repetedly tried to see him live and never succeded...please, make it happen!
