We're excited to announce Massive Attack week on Qthemusic.com! As the band release their fifth 'regular' studio album and the long awaited follow up to 100th Window, we'll have plenty of special content, two competitions and an exclusive interview with Robert ''D / 3D'' Del Naja and Grant "G/Daddy G" Marshall to discuss Heligoland, their collaborators and their career.
Our Tracks of the Dayfor the rest of this week are all Massive Attack related, so expect remixes of new material and insights from our interview with the gentlemen themselves, to their reaction to, and attempt to follow up on platinum-selling Mezzanine, not to mention the internal band member conflict that's perhaps inevitable in a working relationship as enduring and creative as theirs. It's something both of them are refreshingly candid and open about, and perhaps goes some way to explaining why they're still making music whilst many of their peers have imploded or fallen by the wayside.
