Amy Mac Donald - An Ordinary Life
An Ordinary Life may not be an easy thing to come by when you're as talented as Amy Macdonald. Her debut album This is Life made her one of the best singer-songwriters in Britain. The record was number one in five different countries and achieved platinum, or muliti-platinum status in twelve countries, selling over three million copies in the process. After months of relentless touring, Amy has become an international star.
Second effort, A Curious Thing, promises to be bold and dramatic while also retaining an intimate feel. An Ordinary Life is itself a dig at Z-list celebrities. She explains, "You're in this room and everyone's looking at you. For me, I've still got that ordinary life, and I just want to hold on to that for as long as I can. I don't ever want to be having album launch parties where celeb wannabes come along and hassle me!"
As much as Amy says she doesn't want to be in the spotlight she certainly will be seen in one with a lengthy list of tourdates:
