Audio Bullies - Only Man

Audio Bully's hit mainstream success in 2005 with Shot You Down, balancing Nancy Sinatra's vintage vocals with thumping modern dance music. As ever when a single is extremely well received and hence over-played, it is difficult to break out of the 'one hit wonder' mold. Second album Generation was a difficult one to make, trying to appeal to the new fans, while sticking to their previous ideals.

Simon Franks and Tom Dinsdale are back after a four year hiatus with an album written in Simon's words as one for their mates rather than the label, to be "respected by the people you want to respect you". The record has been produced by themselves with some help from the mates they hold dear, including Suggs and Mike Barson from Madness. Higher than the Eiffel is due for release on 29th March through their own Face Piece imprint on Cooking Vinyl.

Preceding single Only Man contains the brilliant beat making skills of Tom Dinsdale along with the confident conversational vocals of Simon to create the hallmark Audiobully's sound. Watch the video below and let us know what you think.
