• reckon Ian Brown is the greatest frontman ever, stone roses walk all over oasis musically, better tunes and original not tryin to copy the beatles. Oasis no doubt had their day in the 90's but the stone roses will be remembered forever !!

• Great frontmen dont break up their band because he had a fight with his brother. The sad thing is when Q reiewed Morning Glory they summed it up by saying that a musical rethink was in order but Oasis never had much to do with music.

• This list makes me very glad I cancelled my subscription to Q a couple of years ago having been a reader since 1988. Notwithstanding personal taste it doesn't even make sense, being a haphazard mixture of solo artists and bands. What on earth was the voting criteria? Seemingly just pick your favourite popstar. All involved should be made to sit down and think quietly about what they've done. Complete waste of time.
