Brooklyn quintet The National have unveiled the artwork and tracklisting for their fifth LP, High Violet.
The follow up to 2007's Boxer was recorded in the band's own studio in Brooklyn before being mixed and produced at Tarquin Studios, Conneticut with Peter Katis who's worked with the band on their two previous releases.
As well as previously unpublicised compositions, the eleven tracks on the new record feature songs that have been developing in their live set over the last year, including Bloodbuzz Ohio, Runaway and Vanderlyle, now given the formal full title Vanderlyle Cry Baby Geeks.
The cover artwork features a sculpture by Mark Fox called The Binding Force.
