The Kissaway Trail - SDP
The Danish five-piece bring home the bacon with SDP, their new single from forthcoming album 'Sleep Mountain'.
With a renewed sense of purpose, and with the help of producer Peter Katis (Interpol, The National, The Twilight Sad), the Trail are marching along the road to success. SDP is an ethereal, yet atmospheric single, chiming with positivity.
Influences are vast as the group have always been so difficult to define. The feverous pace of Sonic Youth is combined with the dreamlike nature of The Flaming Lips, while retaining the anthemic room encompassing ability of Arcade Fire .
SDP is the first single to be taken from 'Sleep Mountain', released 8th March on Bella Union. The new album promises to equal the euphoria contained in the debut but with more of a drive to succeed. Expect this group to mesmerize with urgency as much as with ambience.
