Band Of Horses return with their third full-length album Infinite Arms on May 17, recorded with the aid of Phil Ek and mixed by sometime-Oasis buttontwister Dave Sardy.
An album that promises to be their most 'dynamic and focused' (whatever that means) to date, its creators have drawn inspiration from the cultural and scenic forces of America's vast landscape, all the while keeping their feet comfortably placed in the heavily wooded area that was so irrevocably present on 2007's brilliant Cease To Begin.
Compliments, their new single, certainly does not disappoint the soaring number of fans that have been rushing to BOH's camp over the past three years. Jangly guitars, a festival-friendly middle section and, as always, exquisite harmonies are layered under Ben Bridwell's distinct vocals. The folk-rock crown firmly reclaimed then.
