Q288: U2 vs Muse - Glastonbury Special
Q Magazine Q288 is out now and is a bumper Glastonbury Special that comes with a free New To Q themed CD, more on that and the track-list for it here.

The clash of the Glastonbury titans - U2 vs. Muse, Q spent time with both bands in recent weeks. U2, set to make their much anticipated debut Glastonbury appearance as Friday night headliners of the Pyramid Stage. Remarkable, in that there can be few gigs as important and landmark as this three decades into any band's career, for Adam Clayton to tell us "There's a lot hanging on how this Summer goes. For us to be playing it at this moment is great for us" is an indicator of how seriously the band are approaching the occasion. A statement surely only enhanced by the fact this is a four-piece that played Live Aid; memorably brought LA to a standstill with a rooftop performance of Where The Streets Have No Name, and aswell as the Zoo TV, 360 degrees and Popmart tours have performed at an American President's inauguration. Ahead of this monumental Worthy Farm performance they take us through these past pivotal live shows in their own words.
Satruday's Pyramid headliners Muse on the other hand are a revelation in their own right. In a Cash For Questions special we discover their plans for the big show - suitably Muse we think you'll agree; whether Matt still uses his jetpack; their pick of the Gallagher brothers and get Matt's take on his recent "days out" with Lily Allen.

What a let down that I cannot get hold of the free CD, anyway, I'm still going to buy this one when our local supplier delivers it after all there's MUSE, that's worth the money.

I loooove Matt Bellamy, his eyes in that stareing pic are sooo cute, i have bought that mag just to look at muse, i dont like the fact that matt is hangin out with lily allen ugh, i just dont like her. I really like the interveiw in the issue, i was laughing all through it. "cum face"
