Comments

A number of the outstanding US bands that played Glastonbury this past weekend will be featured on a free CD that will be given away with the forthcoming issue of Q magazine.

Entitled Born In The USA, the CD will be available exclusively with Q magazine from 30 June and features 15 of the best contemporary and emerging American outfits. The Glastonbury 2010 contingent is comprised of Midlake, Black Keys, The Avett Brothers and The Strange Boys, each of whom contribute a track, as do Fleet Foxes, who appeared on the Pyramid Stage last year.

Among the other artists featured on the CD are Band Of Horses (with a previously unavailable version of Factory, one of the standout tracks from their current album, Infinite Arms), Joanna Newsom, Phosphorescent and such highly-rated newcomers as Avi Buffalo and Pearly Gate Music.

  • Is there any chance you could post the artwork for this CD here monthly? At the moment I'm having to go through and find something random for the artwork in iTunes :-(.
