Revere - We Won't Be Here Tomorrow

Revere began as a duo composed of Stephen Ellis on vocals and guitar and Andrew Hawke on bass and vocals. As things got bigger for the band, so did the tour bus. Now they have an Arcade Fire-esque line-up, with eight members in total including a glockenspiel, trumpet, and violin player. An interesting array of instruments has ensured an expansive sound and a wealth of positive critical acclaim.

The group recently won BBC 6 Music's rebel playlist, as voted for by the public, their fan base heading the same the as line-up did due to their great live reputation, their cacophonous multi-layered sound along with stunning live visuals setting them apart. Career highlights thus far include two sold out headline performances at London's Union Chapel and the self-release of their first two singles As The Radars Sleep, and The Escape Artist, both of which received extensive airplay.

This new single is an uplifting, joyous trumpet led crescendo which perfectly showcases the orchestral aspects of the group and also their ability to create a great chorus. The upcoming album, Hey! Selim is due out in early September. The debut was recorded in a remote barn, out on the Scottish Highlands and also in part at Pinewood Studios. See what all the hot air is about by watching the video below, complete with helium balloons...
