The Pierces - Love You More

It was a case of third time lucky for The Pierces who have had a turbulent time since their formation. The Alabama raised duo's first couple of albums stayed in the deep south of the charts and a break-up in 2008 seemed to spell the end.

As darkness drew in and things seemed to be heading for a close, the stars came out. both Kings Of Leon, The Strokes, and Coldplay's bassist Guy Berryman have all helped out in the seemingly final hour. A support slot on Coldplay's South American tour saved them from the split.

The latter of the aforementioned trio, along with Grammy award winning producer Rik Simpson, offered to produce the much anticipated upcoming album, which the girls could not refuse. "It felt like magic. Like it was a sign that we were meant to stay together," explains Cathrine, the blonde haired half of the duo. Also

The new album was half recorded in New York and half in London at Coldplay's much used studio. Before the album gets its full release next year, their EP, Love You More , will test the ground on 25 October with four new songs including the title track below.
