From the land of Abba, this Sweedish girl band have a penchant for pop melody. Those Dancing Days formed in a suburb of Stockholm in 2005, naming themselves after the Led Zepplin track Dancing Days, their sound however is more inspired by "life and pretty boys," according to guitarist Rebecka. It is this feel good attitude which comes accross in their upbeat northern soul influenced care-free sound.

An EP with the self titled track Those Dancing Days paved the way for their 2009 debut album In Our Space Hero Suits, a record full of energetic cheer and catchy hooks The Pipettes could well have done to make. Next year the girls are back with Daydreams And Nightmares, scheduled for 7 March.

Fuckarias is a free download from the new record and is available here. "You're an uninvited clown," sings vocalist Linnea Jönsson, that is the last thing you want at a party. The accompanying video has more enthusiasm and hair shaking than a l'oreal advert. Watch it because it's worth it.
