Radiohead have brought forward the digital release of new album, The King Of Limbs, originally to be made available tomorrow. With everything ready on their website the band decided to bring the new material to fans as soon as possible. To download The King Of Limbs all you need to do is pre-order the mp3 or wav and then it should appear in the order tracking area.
In an impromptu announcement made on valentine's day, Radiohead lovingly revealed that a follow-up to 2007's In Rainbows was ready to be heard in just five days time, much to the surprise of fans and critics. Now with things being brought forward by 24 hours, fans are enjoying the album for the first time today.
The unpredictability of Radiohead's album promoting techniques is something we are getting used to since previous album, In Rainbows, caused much debate after being released via their own website on a pay what you want basis. Now the unexpected announcements and cryptic messages appearing on their site have left people once again guessing as to what their next impulsive move may be. While you wait for your copy to download listen below to Lotus Flower, the first track to emerge, with Thom Yorke's 'experimental' dance moves on full display. Have a go at learning them for yourself...
Have you had a listen? What do make of the new record? Let us know below

I'd have to agree; quite beautiful. Hypnotic's easy. Accessible's easy. Hypnotic and accessible? That's the hard bit.

I'd have to agree with Radek. Accessible's easy. Hypnotic's easy. Accessible and hypnotic together? That's the genius hard part.

Unimpressed by first listen. So mellow and boring. Didn't get what it was building up to. Just wanted to listen to In Rainbows. Saw video and realized I am not listening to it the right way! I am now happily listening again. Now convinced you have to get into the music bodily in order to fully receive it.They know what they are doing. Set free again.

Best Radiohead Record yet, and that is saying a hell of a lot. I suspect that this is the first of 2 or maybe even 3 releases. I recall one of the bandmates saying something about releasing a string of EP's. I kind of like the short runtime. Its fits a jog, ride to work, any daily activity. Its amazing!

Brilliant, better even than In Rainbows. The only problem is that usually it takes me some time to get into Radiohead's albums. This time I love it from the start and it's a bit worrying...

great record. requires some work from the listener which is always a good thing. love the flying lotus/burial influences coming through. not sure what selway did during the making though. maybe they made most of it when he was doing his solo stuff lol

Another absorbing album full of gorgeous hooks and melodies if you're willing to wait for them to emerge. Sits nicely alongside Kid A and Amnesiac. Those people fixated on The Bends and the Radiohead of 16 years ago may have to wait a bit longer it seems.

Its certainly taking its time to grow on me. "Ittle by little is class plus a couple of others however creativity is in the eye of the maker and he must know where he is going! Onwards and upwards mr Yorke !!

it hasn't grabbed me as much as 'in rainbows' did- which is to me their 3rd best album as it seemed that they were actually interested in making music people like to hear!! Although saying that there are some nice tracks on here such as 'mr magpie, lotus flower and codex. Bit like Kid A, Amnesiac and hail to the thief in respect to the experimenting but a few amazing, beautiful tracks amongst them! But to me The Bends and OK Computer are 2 amazing albums and are definetly in the top 10 of best albums ever but I do not think Thom is gonna resort back to that sort of music anytime soon!! Shame but still Radiohead are the most innovative band in the world!
