Dallas Green, frontman and singer of acclaimed post-hardcore band Alexisonfire, returns with his lighter side-project City And Colour and a new LP, Little Hell, which will be released on 7 June. The record is the vocalist's third solo album; his sophomore effort, 2008's Bring Me Your Love, went platinum in his native Canada.
Little Hell differs from the two other records in that it's the first to be recorded and mixed to tape, giving the songs a distinctly warmer and bluesy sound, harking back to the not-quite-forgotten analogue age of old.
Even though City And Colour is a fairly underground artist, his impressively heartfelt music has garnered enough admiration to sell out the Royal Albert Hall - in around half an hour no less! - as well as winning him multiple JUNO awards, Canada's BRITS equivalent.
