Stone Roses set to reunite...

Comments

The calamitous break-up (and break-down) of the Stone Roses was well-documented in the pages of Q when it happened back in 1996, and there have, of course, been plenty of reunion rumours cropping up in the 15 years since their demise.

But, according to The Sun, the band are - really - going to get back together after Ian Brown, John Squire and Mani had an 'emotional reunion' at the recent funeral of Mani's mother. Now, we're not going to take this report as gospel until someone other than an anonymous source confirms it, but it does seem that this is the most authentic report of reconciliation and reuniting that there's been to date.

Do you think it'll happen? And do you want it to? Let us know! And in the meantime, watch the video for Waterfall below.

  • Ahhh if only. I dream of a reunion regularly (strangely usually just before the annual spring rumour resurfaces). In two minds though whether it wcoudl ever live up to the expectation following years of watching live at Blackpool. Who am I kidding... I'd do anything to hear Squire and Reni blast I am the resurrection!
