Here in the Q office, we've really been enjoying Bon Iver's forthcoming, self-titled second album, which is coming out on 20 June.
Unsurprisingly, then, we were pleased to hear that Justin Vernon and friends have announced their first UK shows since they were over here back in 2009. There aren't that many dates, but we'll take what we can get - even if it means waiting until the end of October.
Dates are as follows:
19 October - Manchester Apollo
22 October - Usher Hall, Edinburgh
24 October - Hammersmith Apollo, London
09 November - Birmingham Academy
10 November - Leeds Academy
11 November - Colston Hall, Bristol
Tickets go onsale at 9am on Friday (20 May), and will be available from Aloud.com.
In the meantime, go download the album's first single, Calgary from www.boniver.org. When it's properly released on 4 July, it'll be backed with a cover of Bonnie Raitt's I Can't Make You Love Me. Can't wait to hear that!
