It's come around quick, but this time next week The Great Escape will be in ful swing, taking over the many venues and clubs (and pubs!) of Brighton. As always, there's a staggering amount going on and it's going to be impossible to see everything, but there's a fantastic selection of bands, established and emerging, playing - from DJ Shadow to DM Stith, Friendly Fires to Foster The People, Sufjan Stevens to recent New To Q subject SBTRKT.
In all, there's going to be over 300 bands playing across the three days, and Q are going to head down to try to bring you back news of some of the best of them. We're especially looking forward to Grouplove, Josh T Pearson, Frank Turner, Team Me, Smoke Fairies and Handsome Furs, and that's just off the top of our heads.
On our return, we'll bring you back our top picks from the weekend. And if there are any bands you think we need to check out, let us know below. If you're tempted to go, or can't but want to glower with jealousy at the full line-up, head here. See you on the seafront!
