The Kooks announce pop-up shows in the UK

Having recently run a campaign for fans of the band to pick venues for the four-piece - now consisting of Luke Pritchard, Hugh Harris, Peter Denton and Paul Garred - to play, The Kooks are set to play a series of what they're calling 'pop up shows' later this month. The band's last album, Konk, came out just over three years ago, so it'll be interesting to see if they play any new material at these intimate gigs.

The full list of dates is as follows:

19 May - St Luke's Church, Liverpool
20 May - Iron Works, Inverness
21 May - Borough Hall, Hartlepool
26 May - Hippodrome Circus, Great Yarmouth
27 May - York Hall, London
28 May - Lusty Glaze Beach, Newquay
