On site: You know who the headliners are, so here are the Q staff's personal recommendations from elsewhere on the bill

Laura Marling
Pyramid Stage, 3pm
An obvious choice perhaps, but the almost obscenely gifted one elevates her craft to even greater heights on forthcoming third album A Creature I Don't Know.
Paul Rees, Editor In Chief

John Grant
The Park Stage, 6.30pm
Although sadly no longer backed by Midlake, the former Czars frontman's sardonic tales of drug addiction, homophobia and - ultimately - redemption and are still a must see.
Chris Catchpole, Now Editor

Bombay Bicycle Club

Other Stage, 4pm
Last year's acoustic LP was a needless sidestep for BBC - what they do best is angular art-rock anthems, a point their brilliant forthcoming third album makes with aplomb. Expect the cranked up decibels on the new record to be reflected with an amped-up Glastonbury show.
Niall Doherty, Associate Editor (Reviews)

Esben And The Witch
Oxlyers In West, 12pm
Noon often feels like the crack of dawn on the final day of Glastonbury, which should be the perfect conditions in which to enjoy Brighton trio's ghostly and beautiful noir-rock intricacies.
Paul Stokes, Associate Editor (Digital)

At home: Here's the best of the festival on the box

"Critical favourites"/ Beyonce
Promising a "discerning blend of heritage artists and critical favourites", we're opting for Mark Radcliffe's festival coverage on BBC4 this evening. No word on who the treats will be yet, save that Kool & The Gang are in the bag, but the digital channel is promising plenty from around the site between 7-8pm and again between 10pm-11.30. That said it's probably wise to keep flicking between that and BBC2 between 10pm-2am as Beyonce's headline slot will be broadcast live.
