So you might have heard, someone is celebrating a 25th birthday this year... that's right, it's us.
To celebrate a quarter of a century of Q, we've teamed up with BlackBerry to launch a search for the greatest artist of the last 25 years.
Kicking that off, a brand new section of Qthemusic.com has been launched today.
On it you will find news, videos - with the likes of Plan B and Frank Turner already live and plenty more to come - and the all important shortlist of the 25 artists who are in the running to be named the most influential act since 1986.
Featuring the likes of U2, Coldplay, Arcade Fire, Eminem, Metallica, Oasis, Muse and more, they have all been picked for three key reasons:
* They have significantly shaped Q's landscape
* They have defined an era
* They have amassed a significant body of work
To have your say on who has been the most influential artist, head over to Q25 now and vote.
Plus, if you want to get more exclusive content about the vote including news, competitions and updates directly from Q Editor-In-Chief Paul Rees himself, you can join our new BlackBerry messenger group.
