Orange RockCorps, the project in which volunteers work on projects with the promise of attending a show at the end, has returned. Primal Scream, Jessie J and Eliza Doolittle are among the artists playing to 11, 000 volunteers at Wembley Arena on the 12th July, which will be filmed by Channel 4 (who're a founding partner) and broadcast on the 24th July.
In the UK alone, over 100,000 people have registered with Orange RockCorps. 96% of volunteers say they would volunteer again and 56% say they would volunteer without the incentive of a ticket. Set up by promoters Grady Lee and Toby Garrett, Orange RockCorps gives volunteers the opportunity to work with like-minded music fans, and build a sense of community whilst working at the sites.
