It may have been a while since we've had new material from DJ Shadow, but his absence has made a lot of musician's hearts grow fonder.
Not only are the electronic set paying tribute to the Endtroducing-man's legacy and influence, but even bands like Elbow and Kasabian (the latter supplied a guest spot on his last album) have been recently telling everyone what a debt they owe Joshua Davis.
Well Shadow is back, with a little help from Afrikan Boy, on I'm Excited the first track from his forthcoming album The Less You Know, The Better which is released on September 5.
