Miles Kane - Hey Bulldog (Live In Manchester)

Comments

The haircuts were probably a giveaway and the Scouse accent was a bit of clue, but if you're in any doubt we can confirm that Miles Kane his a huge Beatles fan.

However rather than the usual posters, mugs and t-shirts, the Last Shadow Puppet has been paying his respects to the Fab Four on a nightly basis, ending all his gigs with a cover of Yellow Submarine track Hey Bulldog.

"It's one of my favourite Beatles songs, it's a cool one to do and the moment I started jamming in the room with the band it just sounded perfect and it's been in the set ever since," Kane explains.

"We did this amazing gig in Manchester on the tour, which I got recorded because I wanted to listen to it myself really! Everyone knows I'm a big Beatles fan. Lennon is my hero, I love his voice, his style and his songs."

The cover will be released as the b-side to Kane's next single Inhaler which is out on July 11. However you don't have to wait until then, because it's our Track Of The Day today and so have listen below.
