Well duo Big Deal are certainly in the latter camp as Alice Costelloe penned this track Chair (out 22 August) on a sleepless evening last year.
"I started the song in my bedroom in the middle of the night last summer when I couldn't sleep," she explains. "The rough demo was much slower, probably because of my late night ears, but when Kacey [Underwood, bandmate] heard it, the first thing he did was speed it up and got it to sounding how it does now."
With their debut album Lights Out now done and set for release on 29 August, hopefully the duo will heed their own advice and finally get some sleep.
