Having joked he was "bring ginger back" a few months ago, it seems Ed Sheeran has done just that and more, as he's currently tipped as one of the hottest new artists in the UK.
He's now gearing up to release his debut album + on September 12, from which this - his next single out this week - is taken.
"You Need Me, I Don't Need You was written about the state of the music industry when I entered it, at 15 years old," he tells Q. "Over the course of the last 5 years I've added lines and changed bits around and it's slowly evolved into what it is now. I'm really happy to be able to finally be releasing it as a single."
Sheeran is now set to hit the road in October with a series of sold out dates including a Q Awards Show at the HMV Forum (22), while he's just announced a new tour for January next year.
