Not just a track of the day from a well regarded new band, but the start of a sort of mini series.
The lead track from the London 's debut release My Crooked Saint EP (out 17 October), Bloody Shirt comes with the video you can watch below.
But that's just the start, from young director Jack King each track from the EP will have a video which when watched together will form an "intriguing short film with interwoven storylines and characters."
"Bloody Shirt is the first in a series of four videos we have produced to go with our debut EP. Each video tells a different story down the same estate, some of the videos run into each other, others overlap. The idea being that only once you have seen all of them will you understand any of them completely, but that also each video can be watched in isolation and still make sense," explains the band's Ralph Pelleymounter/
"The Bloody Shirt video has a very tough job of both setting the scene for the rest of the videos and introducing us to the main character, but I feel it accomplishes this while telling it's own story too."
Is it the music video's answer to The Wire? All we know is the track is pretty decent indeed.
