Ed Sheeran has hailed his win as Breakthrough Artist at yesterday's (24 October) Q Awards as a great "stepping stone" as he hopes to catch the likes of Tinie Tempah and the other nominees in Q Best Male soon.
The singer-songwriter was reacting to his victory in a Q video interview you can watch above.
"This is the award I wanted to win," said Sheeran, "because I don't think I'm at the stage yet where I feel I can win Best Male because some like Tinie has been around for a bit, but Breakthrough is a stepping stone, it's good to start off like this."
