Move over Ashton Kutcher, back of the line Charlie Sheen, Limp Bizkit leader Fred Durst has landed his own sitcom. The man who did for red baseball caps what the credit crunch did for the Greek economy, is set to star in his own CBS show, Douchebag, playing a "rock legend" trying to balance a family life with the pressures of stardom. No word yet on when it will hit television screens but here's hoping it isn't cancelled and they keep the cameras rollin, rollin, rollin'... (sorry).

Radiohead are hitting the studio again to work on new material in December and January. "We can get things together quite rapidly at the moment," says Thom Yorke. The singer spoke of having one new song, Come To Your Senses, almost ready to go but declined to discuss how or when the new tracks might see the light of day. "I don't know how we would release them," he said. "It would be nice to make it all part of the flow and just enjoy it - not think about it too much."

Chris Martin has revealed how Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan helped shape Coldplay's new album Mylo Xyloto. "I was watching a lot about Darkness on the Edge of Town and a lot about Blonde on Blonde and Sgt Pepper's and all these real albums," he explained, "and I realised that we had to make a decision. Even though the album is an endangered species, can we try and make a coherent and good one, even if it's like making a horse and cart at a Nascar conference?"

Plan B is starting a punk band: "Me and my backing band are always working on ideas in soundcheck and I want to turn it into a proper band." Don't expect Sex Pistols covers and growing a mohawk anytime soon though - it's going to be of an attitude thing, according to the singer. "It's going to be a real punk band - not in terms of the sound, but having a proper punk ethos."

John Terry will not be on the guestlist for any Baxter Dury's shows any time soon, he's no Chelsea lover (this also means he won't be covering The Fratellis any time soon, which is a good thing). "I really hate them [Chelsea]. They have also got a weird fanbase. They are either high toffery or really horrible cockney types," he said when quizzed on his football alliances. "I shouldn't be saying this because I'll get my knees sewn together. But there is something in the way that team has developed which is reflected in the players."
