Kaiser Chiefs have told Q they are pleased they can still surprise fans four albums in.
The band were speaking after winning picking up Q Innovation In Sound at yesterday's (24 October) Q Awards - watch the full interview above.
"It's four albums in and we're getting an award for innovation which is unusual," said singer Ricky Wilson of their last release, The Future Is Medieval which initially allowed fans to build their own album by selecting from 20 tracks.
"It went great [letting the fans build their own album], especially the output of material which came from changing the way we were doing it, so we changed the way we recorded... we had a great time, it was hard work but it's all fun an games."
