Our current issue, Q304, is an extra-special one: it's our 25th birthday.
To mark the occasion the magazine boasts 25 different covers featuring 25 different acts who are currently shaping music.
Each day, we'll be printing an exclusive extract from one of the 25 cover interviews, today it's the turn of Snow Patrol who takes us through their record collections, revealing the album that they used to get pumped up to before playing a gig.
"We akways listen to LCD Soundsystem's Sound Of Silver before we go onstage. It's a ritual and everyone generally gets involved, dancing and laughing," explains Gary Lightbody.
See if it has the desired effect next week when the band play Q Awards gig at the HMV Forum on 27 October.
