Dr Conrad Murray has been found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson tonight (7 November).
The doctor was pronounced guilty unanimously by the Los Angeles jury after eight and a half hours of deliberation.
Murray will be sentenced on 29 November and as been remanded into custody by the court. He faces a maximum prison term of four years and could lose his medical licence.
Reacting to the verdict, Jackson's sister LaToya who was present in the court for the jury's decision declared: "Michael was looking over us."
Jackson died after receiving a overdose of the powerful painkiller Propofol at his home on 25 June, 2009.
