Q is launching a search for the best, brand new tracks currently around - and we need your help to find them.
We're currently piling through all the upcoming new releases to discover the gems that will be coming your way in January, but we want to look further afield.
What about the bands playing in boozers? The solo artists serenading our streets? The bedroom producers brewing bangers? As long as the song was recorded or demoed in the last couple of months (so no recycling please), it could appear as part of a feature that will run in our issue out in January.
If you have ONE song that you'd like to nominate by either yourself or a friend please, then please upload it to an online streaming or FTP service (eg: Youtube, Soundcloud, MySpace, You Send It, etc) and send the link plus short biography/ story of the song to Editor@qthemusic.com with SONG as the subject by next Monday, 21 November.
Will we get in touch with the best submissions, so please including a daytime phone number.
NB We will delete attached MP3s without listening, so if you want to send a file make sure it's via a ftp service, and if you don't use the subject 'Song' we might miss your nomination so please label your email up correctly, ta
