It was announced today (8 December) that Blur have been chosen this week to receive an Outstanding Contribution To Music award at next year's Brit awards. About time, too.
Next year looks like it will be a big year for the Britpop legends - not only do they have the ceremony, but Damon Albarn dropped some serious hints in his Q25 interview that their performance at the Brits ceremony may just be one of many in 2012, while Alex James told us he was 'up for more' Blur earlier this year.
