DJ supergroup Deltron 3030 have completed work on new album, Deltron Event II, according to a video update posted online by Del the Funky Homosapien (via Beatsperminute.com).

Jason Pierce says he sent out unfinished versions of the new Spiritualized album to reviewers to buy himself more time in the studio. "I had the rather foolish idea last November that I could deliver the record that's been sent out and keep working on the real version," he explained. "I'd meet the delivery date they need for reviews and things like that and nobody would be any the wiser that I'd be carrying on with the mixing." The album is now set to come out in April.
