Beyonce gave birth to her and Jay-Z's first child, a baby girl named Blue Ivy Carter in New York late on Friday night according to reports - though there has yet to be any official confirmation from the pair's spokespeople.

Adele is reported to want to "sex up" her image... possibly. A "source" is claiming the singer, "she thinks she'll get even more fashion and acting offers if she shaves off a few pounds." Although a "source" told us a gossip mag maybe trying to fill space because something else dropped out.

Rappers Azealia Banks and Kreayshawn have fallen out on Twitter. The latter posted a link on Twitter to Banks' 212 video hosted on a porn site, leading the Harlem rapper to respond: "you think you're funny? you're a dumb bitch. And you can't rap. I'll sit on your face. ... Fall back slut. Lol." Kreayshawn has since said she is now "not a fan" of Banks. Ouch.

Kanye West says he is working on a movie version of The Jetsons. A tweet by the rapper/ producer last Wednesday seemed to suggest he was working on the popular cartoon reboot in a "creative director" role, although according to the studio there is no screenplay or director attached to the project so far.

Noel Gallagher has described the current state of pop music as "rubbish". The former Oasis guitarist said: "The days of Oasis and Blur were the last great assault on the charts by alternative music. Christmas Top of the Pops was ­dreadful. Every song ­sounded like it came from the same field of music... the Britpop thing was vastly different. We were all great live bands, and that's gone now."

Bob Weston, a one-time member of Fleetwood Mac, has been found dead at his North London home, aged 64. The guitarist appeared on the albums Penguin and Mystery To Me before being fired by founding member Mick Fleetwood after it was discovered Weston had been having an affair with his wife.
