Who? Two brothers David and Peter Brewis head up indie/ art rock band Field Music, who are now on their fourth album, Plumb, which will be released on 13 February. Not bad considering they announced their hiatus after second album Tones Of Town in 2007.

Why now? Taken from Plumb, A New Town is another great example of Field Music's ability to create quirky melodies with shuffling instrumentation. The band start touring on 6 February, kicking off at Edinburgh's Picture House.
Sounds like: A delightfully sparky blend of sounds and textures, even boasting am jacuzzi-esque bubble noise.
