Madonna is calling her new album is called MDNA - it's like what Primal Scream did with XTRMNTR except she's left that final vowel in for some reason... The singer also says she plans to tour in 2012.

The Temper Trap are set to return with a second album this year, but it seems they have had a hand in someone else's record, indirectly. Bono has suggest the group have influenced the album's U2 are working on. "Something really exciting is that finally the rock band is melting into clubland and experimenting with sounds that are not normally deemed authentic for the rock band - synthesizers, experimental sounds - which you can hear in an album by the Temper Trap," says the singer.

Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie joked he asked The Happy Mondays' Bez to replace Mani now the bass player has rejoined The Stone Roses. "Bez said to me, What are you gonna do now that Mani's gone? and I said, Can you play the bass, Bez? How cool would that be? Bass and maracas!" explained Gillespie.
