Last night in 100 words...
There are some suggesting that guitar music is dead - on last night's evidence it's never been in ruder health. Last minute addition to the bill, Man Made proved a chip of dad Johnny Marr's block, teasing emotive indie ballads out of his telecaster; Zulu Winter's seductive art pop threw down the gauntlet to the likes of Wild Beasts and headliners Howler, looking cool in a just rolled out of bed via the minibar way, showed that sharp, scuzzy, garage rock is alive and - when they pulled a punter onstage to sing I Told You Once - as thrilling as ever.

View from the crowd: "Both Zulu Winter and Howler lived up to the pre-show hype, with a sound from both bands that deserves a larger venue. 2012 is theirs for the taking, and it will be fun to see what Zulu Winter and Howler do with it." @PeteHatesMusic
