With South By Southwest (SXSW) drawing to a close at the weekend, here's a quick round-up of what's been happening in Texas...
Eminem made a surprise cameo during 50 Cent's show at Austin Music Hall show on Friday. The Lose Yourself rapper joined Fiddy for three songs, as he performed his 2003 album Get Rich or Die Tryin' live in its entirety for the first time.
Mumford and Sons performed two new songs, Lover's Eyes and Lover Of Delight, at the SXSW premiere of their new tour documentary, Big Easy Express, alongside Ghost That We Knew, which they debuted at the end of last year.
Jack White played a 21 song set headlining his Third Man Records showcase on Friday at The Stage On Sixth, performing a mixture of solo tracks and White Stripes material with an eleven song backing ensemble. Also included in the set were two Raconteurs songs, a Dead Weather track and a cover of Leadbelly's Goodnight Irene.
Watch Tom Morello plus members of The Arcade Fire and The Low Anthem joining Bruce Springsteen onstage at his show to perform a cover of Woody Guthrie's This Land Is Your Land in tribute to what would have been the folk singer's 100th birthday this week (via Vulture.com).

A$AP Rocky's show at 1100 Warehouse on Saturday nded in a brawl as the rapper and his ensemble reacted angrily to beer being throw onstage, according to reports.
Tom Morello performed a cover of MC5's Kick Out The Jams with Wayne Kramer at his gig-cum-Occupy protest on Friday (16 March), before it was shut down by police. "It was a very inspiring night," the Rage Against The Machine man later said.

Rihanna has defended her decision to collaborate with Chris Brown, three years after he was convicted of attacking her. "It made sense as a musician despite everything else. The hottest R&B artist now is Chris Brown," she explained. "We did two records, one for my fans and one for his fans... that way our fans should come together. There shouldn't be a divide. It's music and it's innocent."
Orbital claim that dance music will never die. "People are never going to stop dancing, that's the ultimate thing, people love to dance," the duo declare.
