It's fair to say Dave Grohl's hometown Warren, Ohio, is very proud of its connection to the Foo Fighter. Some years ago they named an alley after him and now they're honouring him with a giant pair of drumsticks. The tribute will be unveiled this Saturday and will be on display at the city's concert hall until they move to the aforementioned Dave Grohl Alley in September.

The Strokes are definitely working on a new album. Well Albert Hammond Senior says they are, but remember when it emerged the band were in a New York studio, management quickly denied it. "Albert says that the stuff they're doing is incredible. They're doing it themselves with their friend, engineer and producer. He just says Dad, it's incredible," reports the clearly proud father.
