Our new issue, Q313, which has just hit newsstands comes with an exclusive Amy Winehouse tribute CD to go alongside our extensive cover feature on the late singer.
Get the magazine now to get your hands on a copy of Back To... Back To Black, but in the meantime we're showcasing a different act each day who have covered a track from the album, today we hear from The Time And Space Thing who have tackled Rehab.
Richard Norris: "It was a challenge taking on Rehab. Amy's unique vocals and Mark Ronson's production are so full of class, sass and spit that we had to do something very different. So we thought of Hawkwind... The first version we did, which this is an edit of, is a 13-minute Krautrock wig-out. Then we added a Vox Continental playing the kind of freakbeat tune that Guy Stevens would spin to mods at the Flamingo, plus some three-string cigar-box guitar and some Dr Who synthesizer... and there you have it. God bless you, Amy."
