Our new issue, Q313, which has just hit newsstands comes with an exclusive Amy Winehouse tribute CD to go alongside our extensive cover feature on the late singer.
Get the magazine now to get your hands on a copy of Back To... Back To Black, but in the meantime we're showcasing a different act each day who have covered a track from the album, today we hear from Dry The River who have tackled Me & Mr Jones.
Matt Taylor (guitar): "We were on tour in Holland when we got asked to do it. We were really into the live feel of the original track. It sounded like a bunch of guys in a room together and we wanted to keep that feel and energy. It's quite a comedic song - we had fun doing the backing vocals. If you listen closely to the 'dick to me' line, you can hear our tour manager's bass harmony! Amy will go down as a modern-day legend, like a Jack White or a Damon Albarn - the albums she made were undeniably brilliant. It was so cool to be asked to do this."
