Kings Of Leon bassist Jared Followill has launched a side project with Mona frontman Nick Brown. The pair, Smoke & Jackal, release their first EP on 15 October. Have a listen below.

It's been an up and down week for Taylor Swift. Firstly she topped the US charts with We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, but since he's been criticised by the Kennedy clan for crashing one of their weddings and upstaging the bride. The mother of bride, Victoria Kennedy - daughter-in-law of the late Robert Kennedy - claims Swift and her boyfriend (a Kennedy himself) texted an hour beforehand asking to come and were told no. When they turned up Kennedy asked the singer to leave again but she ignored her. "It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me," noted the matriarch.

Noel Galagher claims he was the best dressed roadie... ever. The former Oasis leader once set up guitars for Inspiral Carpets, but made sure he avoided the standard uniform of ill-fitting band merch. "I was maybe the best-dressed roadie in the history of music. I used to wear white jeans and never got them dirty. I was too quick for the dirt," he declared.
