Mumford & Sons admit to "wretched fear" over new album, Noel Gallagher dedicates song to Mo Farah, Lady Gaga attacked by PETA for changing mind on fur... Daily Hot List
Wenesday, 15 August

Mumford & Sons have admitted to feeling the pressure as they recorded their second album Bable (out 24 September). Suggesting there was "an element of wretched fear" around entering the studio, the band's Ted Dwane said his group was lucky they were not rushed into releasing a follow-up record. "We had the chance to do it in our own time, which is a real saving grace," he explained. "We could have released a pretty terrible album a year ago." Dwane also confirmed the group will play both intimate and big shows on their next UK tour. "I don't want to give too much away but this UK tour we're planning covers both sides," he said. "We want to do a lap of the perimeter of the UK doing some much smaller venues, then the major cities of which there'll be five or six, there will be some big shows." I'm sorry Q, but I can spot so many silly grammar mistakes here (in the Mumford & Sons section)...
'suggesting there was ''certainly is an...''' - tense??
'a pretty terrible about a year ago' - a pretty terrible what?
'we're planning covers both sides' - do you not mean 'covering'?
'of which they'll be five or six, there will be some big shows' - do you not mean 'there'll be five or six'?
and finally...
'listen to the fill interview below' ... I don't really need to say what's wrong with that one.
