Arcade Fire have begun work on a new album, but don't expect to hear it too soon. "We're not that far into a record, but we've been working for a few months now," explains drummer Jeremy Gara. "We are under no pressure from record labels or management or whatever to do anything on any sort of schedule. We're just working. We have no deadlines." Late next year is the current ETA.

Folk-soul singer Terry Callier has died aged 67. The artist, who released several influential albums between 1968 and 1979 and went on to work with the likes of Massive Attack, Beth Orton, Paul Weller and more after he was rediscovered in the 1990s, was reportedly found dead at his home on Saturday.

Lil Wayne was forced to make an emergency landing in his private jet after suffering a health scare.
